作者简介
李伟明，Dr. Li Weiming, born in December 1983 in Guiping City, Guangxi province, is an Associate Professor in the Southv Subtropical Crops Research Institute of Chinese Academyof Tropical Agricultural Sciences, mainly engaged in thegermplasm resources collection and breeding of horticulturalplant. In the past few years, he focused on the research of thetaxonomy, evaluation and hybridization of wild banana cultivars, and has developed a high-efficient technique system for banana cross-breeding by which certain elite new varieties were bred. He has presided over anumber of projects such as the project of the National Natural Science Foundation of Chinaand the major project of the Tibet Natural Science Foundation of China.He has published16 papers in "Functional & Integrative Genomics" "Plant Pathology" "Acta Horticulturae Sinica" and other journals. The monographs he edited, such as the "Germplasm Resources of Fruit Trees" and the "Color Illustration for Banana Cultivation with Good Quality and High Yield". In 2020, he was awarded the title of "High-Level Talent" by the Zhanjiang Municipal government, Guangdong province.
