Education is the process of facilitating learning. Knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits of a group of people are transferred to other people, through storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, or research. Human development is a well-being concept within a field of international development. It involves studies of the human condition with its core being the capability approach. The Education and Human Development focuses on important topics in education and human development. First chapter synthesizes rational support for teaching for creativity as philosophy of teaching that facilitates human development and self-actualization for all students. Second chapter discusses contemporary tendencies in developmental psychology, the concept of development in ontogenesis, and basic assumptions to study them. Third chapter examines how adolescent striatal hypersensitivity to incentives moderates the relation between early childhood BI and young adult substance use. Fourth chapter offers an opportunity to present the research and share the ideas, methodological challenges and difficulties that we faced and that we have had to deal with. In seventh chapter, we discuss the effects of a career guidance program on the identity development of students with career choice problems. Early childhood education has been described in eighth chapter. The role of higher education in human capital development in Nigeria has been discussed in ninth chapter. In tenth chapter, education and development have been discussed in tenth chapter. Concepts underlying the Ayrton Senna institute have been presented in eleventh chapter. The purpose of last chapter is to construct a general equilibrium model of education and human capital accumulation that is consistent with the set of facts.
