Zhang Qingmin (Ph.D.) is professor and Chair of the Department of Diplomacy, School of International Studies, Peking University. His teaching and research interests include theory of foreign policy analysis and Chinese foreign policy, diplomatic theory and China’s diplomacy. He has published widely in these areas, including U.S. Arms Sales Policy toward Taiwan: A Decision-Making Perspective, Foreign Policy Analysis, and China’s Diplomacy in 40 Years since Reform and Opening-up, and translation from English to Chinese Woodrow Wilson and Colonel House: A Personality Studies, Groupthink: Psychological Studies of Policy Decisions and Fiascoes. With wide international teaching experiences, he has been invited to teach China’s diplomacy related courses at more than a dozen universities in Asia, Europe, America, and Oceania.
