【内容简介】

　　《医学专业英语》以专门用途英语理论为指导，以国外期刊文献为主要选材来源，选材充分反映*新医学发展状况，体现现代医学理念。内容丰富多彩，包括人体各系统和器官、疾病、生命科学新趋势等题材，涵盖医学专业基础文献、病案分析、学术报告等。
　　教材主题鲜明，突出实用性。全书共12个单元（Unit），以人体主要系统为经线，以各系统相关疾病为纬线。每个单元围绕同一个主题，文章体裁多样。
　　学习者可以从不同角度深化了解人体各系统及相关疾病的英语表述，掌握学术英语和职业英语知识。《医学专业英语》从课文到练习、从选材到设计，编写人员无一不在“实用”上下工夫，力求达到学以致用。
　　《医学专业英语》每单元包含两篇必学课文（TextA：基础课程与TextB：强化课程）与一篇选学课文（TextC：拓展课程）。练习设计原则上以读写译为主，听说为辅，注重学生综合学习能力（英语语言能力以及批判性思维能力、解决问题的能力、合作学习能力、自主学习能力）的提高。各单元构成如下：*一，听说部分包括一个与主题相关的情景对话和两篇短文，以信息的理解、归纳、判断到语言的模仿输出为原则，设置任务练习。
　　第二，阅读部分由与主题相关的*新、*前沿三篇文章构成，由浅入深。配有单词训练（以医学专业词汇为主）、课文理解等练习，旨在培养学生的阅读能力并扩大知识面、开阔视野。
　　第三，医学词汇部分系统地编辑了医学词汇基本结构、复数形式、与各章节相关的及常见的医学英语词根、前缀、后缀、常用医学短语及相关练习等，将医学英语的理论知识和实际应用相结合。
　　第四，写作部分从医务工作者的工作需求出发，旨在提高学习者实际写作能力，内容包括主诉、病史、体检、病程记录、出院小结及不同类型的摘要写作等。
