    秦大河，地理学家，学院院士，发展中科学院院士。现任学院学术委员会主任、亚洲地理学会。长期从事冰冻圈和气候变化及可持续发展研究。主持“象事业发展战略研究”项目，提出“公共气象、安全气象、资源气象”新理念。参与和了联合国间气候变化专业委员会第三、第四和第五次评估报告，领衔候与环境、中国特别天气气候事件与灾害风险管理等评估报告，为发展气候变化科学作出重要贡献。
