【内容简介】

汉英对照《大中华文库》（以下简称《文库》）是国家表彰的重大对外出版工程。历时近30年，以汉英对照方式译介了112种中国古代典籍，是有史以来大规模英译中国古代典籍的丛书。本书在研读《文库》各种图书的基础上，广泛搜集国内外相关典籍英译的评论与研究，考察各种典籍的英译历史与影响，以条目形式介绍了《文库》各种图书的基本信息、中英版本、英译传播历史以及学界的评论与研究，展示了《文库》的出版宗旨、学术价值和重大意义。本书涉及许多重要的中国古代典籍的重要译者和译作，以严谨的学术态度倡导对《文库》客观、科学的认识，推动中国古代典籍英译的学术研究。

【作者简介】

‘尹飞舟，大中华文库工作委员会副主任、副编辑，湖南师范大学教授、博士生导师、翻译传播研究所所长、外国语学院翻译学学科带头人。主要从事翻译传播、编辑出版研究，主持社科重大课题“诸子典籍英译传播文献整理与研究”，出版著作、译著和教材10余部，在和重要学术刊物发表20余篇。
余承法，湖南师范大学教授、博士生导师，“芙蓉学者”青年学者。主要从事翻译理论与实践、翻译传播和钱锺书研究，出版著作、译著和教材20部，主持社科项目4项、省部级项目9项，在和重要学术刊物上发表60余篇，荣获省部级社科成果和成果奖11项。
邓颖玲，湖南师范大学教授、博士生导师，“芙蓉学者”特聘教授，高校黄大年式教师团队负责人。主要从事英美文学、翻译传播学和英语研究。主持社科和省部级项目8项，出版专著、译著和教材10部，在和重要学术刊物上发表40余篇，获重量、省级成果奖和省社科成果奖9项。‘
