Lao Dou, without panic, takes him to find the cure – her mother, who went missing many years ago. In this long journey, they suffer a lot, but Laodou always stays by his side. She takes him shopping and eating even though there are curious onlookers mocking them. When he has to sit in a car with no roof in the rain, she gets out of the cab to accompany him. When hotels refuse to take in him, she sleeps on the cold, hard pavement with him. When he works as an acrobat in a circus, she also works there as a clown...
