【内容简介】

《美国华裔文学作品选》以历史为发展脉络，精选了30位美国华裔作家的作品，并以作家的出生年代为顺序进行编目排列。
   作品选力图反映美国华裔文学一百多年间的发展历程和变化。深刻反映抗争、身份认同与文化冲突所构成的华裔文学传统的重要议题。作品选努力求“新”，体现更大的兼容性。我们选取了多位新生代作家/后起之秀（如60后谢耀、姜?o楠、张纯如，70后李翊云、刘宇昆，80后伍绮诗、黄颐铭、林韬等），以彰显华裔文学*近几十年的发展与繁荣，同时也表明华裔文学生机勃勃，后继有人。同时，对于老一代作家，不仅选其经典之作，也特意选取他们晚近的“新”作品，反映他们老骥伏枥、笔耕不辍的精神，这种精神成为华裔文学向前发展的动力。

【作者简介】

郭英剑，中国人民大学“杰出学者”特聘教授，中国人民大学外国语学院院长、教授（二级）、博士生导师。主要研究英美文学、美国亚裔文学、英语教育与高等教育。出版有《全球化语境下的文学研究》、《赛珍珠评论集》、《重申解构主义》、《大学与社会——郭英剑高等教育文集》等著译十余部，在国内外重要期刊上发表学术论文50余篇。
