With thesupport of Tongji University, we, the three authors of this textbook, have had the opportunity overthe past four years to offer a course named “Chinese Intellectual Property Protection”. It is oneof the nine “General Courses Given in English”, which are open to all the international studentsat Tongji University, and seeks to present a general knowledge on the topic in China. During theteaching, we found it necessary to write a textbook which can meet the requirements of this courseand help foreign students to get a better understanding of the landscape of Chinese intellectualproperty.

张韬略，同济大学青年教师，研究方向为知识产权，尤其专利法和商业秘密法。学习经历：同济大学经济与管理学院管理学博士（2012）；北京大学法学院法学硕士（2004）；中国政法大学法学学士（2000）。
