Since we have to retain a substantial amount of information, we are bound toforget some names, dates or other details, particularly when a presentation hasto be delivered within a limited time. To avoid such awkward situations, prepare notes on a small card-eferablyA5 size. These cards should contain the main points along with any details thatyou may have difficulty remembering at the time of delivery. It is important tonumber the cards because you might be nervous immediately before your turncomes for speaking and shuffle the cards. Putting numbers on the cards will helpyou put them in the right order quickly. It is also important to remember that you will put the cards on the desk, tableor next to the computer keyboard. So, your written notes should be made in sucha way that you can read them without lifting them off the desk.Prepare visual aids.
