This is a photograph collection of nearly 100 centenarians of different ethnic backgrounds who live in different parts of Hulun Buir in Inner Mongolia. The photographs are part of the “Long Live - Hulun Buir Centenarians” video and photograph project that the author initiated.
From the unique perspective of “shooting a hundred centenarians of Hulun Buir,” the author pays tribute to those who live and thrive on the grassland, in forests, and in remote villages. He records fading culture, customs and ethnic memories, and expresses his deep love of and gratitude to Hulun Buir, as the city joins the rest of Inner Mongolia in commemorating the 70 anniversary of the founding of the autonomous region.
The character photography included in thiook has a great visual impact, and each character story brings readers emotion and encouragement.
