　　《走向海洋——中国海洋的历史与现状》一书由国家海洋局海洋发展战略研究所负责编写和审校。是国家出版基金资助出版项目、“十二五”国家重点图书出版规划项目“中国海洋”丛书中的一本分册。本书主要从自然地理的角度描述了中国周边的海洋，众多的海湾、海岛和海港，从历史的角度介绍中国从古至今认识、开发、利用海洋的过程，以及近代中国从海上遭受西方列强侵略，中国人民奋发抗争、维护国家主权和海洋权益的历史。

【作者简介】

　　李明杰，国家海洋局海洋发展战略研究所研究员，海峡两岸关系法研究会理事、中国海洋发展研究会理事。目前主要从事海洋政策、海洋权益研究工作，参加并主持多个国家、部委和地方研究课题，如“我国近海海洋综合调查与评价专项（908）”子课题“南沙群岛形势及其对策研究”“我国海洋开发战略研究”，海南省发改委委托项目“南海油气资源开发政策研究”，中国法学会项目“两岸海洋领域合作的法制化和机制化研究”，国家海洋局课题“海上危机管理机制研究”等。
