内容简介：

本诗集中的作品虽然断
断续续创作于三十多年之间
，但是经过从头到尾的有意
编排，俨然成了一个连贯的
有机的整体，比如以嘉兴而
不是杭州这个运河始点城市
作为起首，因为我的体用
意不是单纯为大运河做传，
而是以河传我；而嘉兴恰恰
是作者的祖居地。接着写的
是作者的出生地——苏州盛
泽，后是北京。因此，这
部作品可以看作是作者个人
的一部诗歌传记，也可以说
是一首自传体长诗。也因此
，本作品荣获第六届中国长
诗奖之文本奖。由诗人张况
执笔的颁奖词说：“北塔以
笔为船，犀利划过人们对大
运河的凝重认知，进溅出文
化长诗的一簇耀眼火花。”

作者简介：

北塔，原名徐伟锋，生于苏州吴江，诗人、学者兼翻译家，中国作家协会现代文学馆/会科学院研究员、世界诗人大会常务副秘书长、河北师范大学等高校客座教授，曾受邀赴美国、蒙古、韩国、荷兰、马其顿等20余国参加研讨、采风、朗诵和讲座等各类文学活动，曾率中国大陆诗歌代表团出访墨西哥、匈牙利、以列、马来西亚、泰国和秘鲁等国并参加诗会。有诗作曾被译成英、德、法、俄、等10余种外文。曾获上海文学奖诗歌奖等诸多奖项。已出版著译30余种，主要有诗集正在锈蚀的时针（中英文对照）、滚石有苔等，学术专著一个诗人的辩——中国现当代文学论集等。
