【作者简介】:
丁往道（1924—2010），我国著名语言学家、翻译家。1946年毕业于四川大学外语系，1950年起在北京外国语学校英语系任教。长期从事写作和文体教学研究及中国文化的译介。编写有《当代英文散文选读》《英语文体学引论》《英语写作手册》等。
