 Associate researcher at the Institute of West Asia and Africa Studies (China-Africa Institute) , Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS), director of the editorial department of West Asia and Africa, ef\'nd the Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Asian and African Studies. His Major field of Research is African politics and security, and the case study of Sierra Leone. He has edited (co edited) several academic works and published more than ten academic papers.
