作者简介：
(美)l弗兰克鲍姆(l.frankbaum)，美国有名作家及剧作家，美国文学之父。出生于美国纽约的一个富庶企业主家庭，从小患有先天心脏病，童年时代几乎都是在阅读中度过。成年后曾先后从事过记者、编辑、演员、公司职员等各种职业。1880年鲍姆开始了写作生涯，1899年出版了靠前部短篇童话集鹅爸爸的故事。1900年出版的以虚构的奥芝国为背景创作的绿野仙踪成为其很为有名、很受读者欢迎的一部作品，被评选为“十部美国很的文学作品”之一。
