作者简介：
莱尔巴克曼，生于1944年，27岁时获得印第安纳大学文学博士，研究方向为二语得。他曾在夏威夷大学、伊利诺伊大学香槟分校、加州大学洛杉矶分校等大学任教。bachman教授曾担任美国应用语言学会（aaal）以及靠前语言测试协会（ilta）会长。在靠前语言测试界乃至整个应用语言学领域享有极高声望。2004年，靠前语言测试协会授予他终身成奖。艾德里安帕尔默，生于1940年，31岁获密歇根大学语言学博士，任犹他大学副教授。palmer有相当丰富的经历和极高的语言天赋，能熟练使用波斯语、法语、德语，通晓泰语和西班牙语。
