【内容简介】

　　《视听说教程（教师手册3）/新世纪大学英语系列教材（第二版）》每个单元由LessonA（Listening&Speaking）和LessonB（VideoCourse）构成。
　　LessonA从第一节到第四节，详细设计了语言点的引入、交际功能表达法的介绍、题材的介绍等等。
　　第一节VocabularyLink是介绍与本节题材与交际功能有关的词汇和短语，第二节Listening是结合情景与交际功能进行听力练习，第三节Pronunciation为语音训练提供基本知识和示范，第四节Speaking&Communication结合情景与交际功能进行听和说的综合练习，将这些材料有机结合，在课堂里进行操练和仿说练习，帮助学生有效提高听和说的能力。教材每单元内容比较充裕，如果按计划进行听和说的操练，一般学校能够在课堂时间内完成教材内容。但有些学校如果因为班级太大，在课堂内组织口语练习确有困难，可以根据实际情况对内容进行选择，把课内时间集中在听力练习上，重点发展学生的英语听解能力。对于班级里英语程度比较好的有条件的学生，可鼓励他们在课外通过网络课件进一步进行听、说操练，全面提高英语听、说能力。
　　另外，第三版对LessonB也做了相应的调整和补充，目的是帮助学生在理解的基础上切实提高英语口语能力。第一部分GlobalViewpoints是采访不同的人就同一题材发表观点，受访者来自世界各地，英语地道、规范，语速正常，还可能带有一点当地口音，这些正是现实生活中可能遇到的情况。为了帮助学生充分理解说话内容，教材设计了相应的练习提高听解能力，同时也增加一些产出练习。第二部分CityLiving是情景喜剧短片，有人物，有情节，有故事。
　　但是仅仅看懂故事梗概并不是语言课的目的。英语课的目的是帮助学生掌握其中的语言，尤其是要学习其中的EverydayEnglish，表达交际功能的语言手段，以及掌握谈论某个题材所需的词语，这些英语口语中最常用的预构成语块是会话策略的重要语言手段，学生要结合短片中的情景、人物表情和肢体语言，充分理解、熟练掌握。为此，教材设计了各种有效的练习，帮助学生掌握地道的英语，加强语感，同时提高学习语言的兴趣。
