作者简介：
许晨，男，59岁，山东德州人，中国作家协会会员，山东省作家协会副，山东文学杂志社原社长主编、一级作家职称。青岛市政协委员，专业技术拔尖人才。1989年7月于艺术学院文学系，2003年12月鲁迅文学院高研班结业。出版有居者有其屋——中国住房制度改革纪实、人生大舞台——样板戏启示录、血染的金达莱、钢铁铸造的岁月、巍巍“泰山”、真情大援川和之门等十几部长篇报告文学。电视文学剧本战歌没有消逝、鲁氏兄弟（合作）。作品曾获得报文学版、“冰心散文奖”、山东省“文艺精品工程”奖、电视剧飞天奖提名等多种奖项，并入选山东新文学大系。2014年6月至8月，许晨受海洋局、中国大洋协会之邀，随同我国深海潜水器“蛟龙”号前往太洋科学察，走进一线，体验生活，经受住了种种验，积累了丰厚的素材，为写作反映我国载人潜水器研发海试、及其重大意义的长篇报告文学第四极：中国“蛟龙”号挑战深海奠定了坚实的基础。
