作者简介：
丁往道（1924—2010），我国有名语言学家、翻译家。1946年于四川大学外语系，1950年起在北京外国语学校英语系任教。长期从事写作和文体教学研究及中国的译介。编写有当代英文散文选读英语文体学引论英语写作手册等。
