作者简介 Li Haiqing,Born in Anhui in 1970, Mr. Li Haiqing has a Ph.D inEngineering and works as an associate professor and a graduatestudent advisor in the School of Architecture of SoutheastUniversity. Li has been engaging in the studies of the technologyhistory of modern Chinese architecture, indigenization designstrategy for green buildings, and exploration of constructionconception of contemporary Chinese architecture.In 2004, he published the treatise titled "Study on ModernTransformation of Chinese Architecture", through which heconducted deep investigation from a unique perspective oncontemporary development of Chinese architecture. In recentyears, he has been devoted to the theoretical research ofhow to build indigenous architecture of China. In addition toreleasing more than 40 theses in this field, he has also presidedor participated in over 30 important projects including NanjingXiao Xian Memorial Hall. Besides, some undergraduates andgraduate students under his guidance have won prizes frommany architectural design competitions or assignment reviewsin China.
