本书是《学前教育英语口语实训》的第二版。是作者多年课堂教学改革实践的成果。教材对学生的语音、对话、英文儿歌演唱、英语讲故事、英语话剧、英语课堂用语、幼儿园日常用语以及幼儿英语课堂设计进行了全方位的训练，涉及的话题均是围绕幼儿的日常生活和游戏活动等。全书共十五个单元，前十个单元主要包括的板块有语音语调、幼儿和老师应该掌握的词汇和对话、资料库、儿歌、故事和儿童剧、谚语和课外阅读，后五个单元去掉了故事和话剧，增加了与幼儿园课堂管理相关的内容。本书是作者多年课堂教学改革实践的结果，本教材第一版已重印多次，获得了较好的经济效益和社会效益。此次为修订版。全书共十五个单元，前十个单元主要包括语音语调，幼儿和老师应该掌握的词汇、表达法和对话，资料库，儿歌部分，故事和儿童剧部分，谚语和课外阅读部分，后五个单元增加了幼儿园英语课堂用语、幼儿英语游戏活动、幼儿英语教育的意义、幼儿英语教师的基本素质、优秀的幼儿英语教案。
