Li Xiangtao,is Research Professor and Director of the Department of Zoology,Beijing Natural History Museum.He is also Offcial Member of the IUCN/SSC/WPA International,Member of a Council of the China Ornithological Society,Secretary General of Beijing Zooloical Sociey,Vivce Editor-in-Chief to the magazine Animal World,and the Special Photographer of the magzine Man and Biosphere.
Currently he is working on ornithology and ecology,as well as the public education of wildlife conservation.He has published 5 monographs,10professinonal books,30 research papers and over 100 popular articles.He is the derigner of the exhibition of Animals:the Friends of Humanking in Beijing Natural History Museum,and many other exhibitions of animal protection and environmental protection.He has successively won the Second-class Award of the Progress of Science and Technology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,and Special Award by China Science and Technology Museum Development Fund Committee.
