【作者简介】

谢竹藩，1924年生于浙江宁波，北京大学靠前医院中西医结合科教授、博士生导师。谢竹藩教授曾多次担任世界卫生组织传统医学顾问及西太区传统医学；参与美国优选医药卫生研究机构美国国立卫生研究院(nih)讨论制定替补医学的研究方。尤其他牌参与了who西太区传统医学名词术语靠前标准的制订，是中医名词术语英译标准化专家团队的领军核心。谢竹藩教授一直致力于中医靠前学术交流和靠前推广，用英文编著出版了众多中医专著，包括中医内科学(traditionalchineseinternalmedicine)、实用中医学(practicaltraditionalchinesemedicine)等．其中多部专著还被译为德文、葡萄牙文和意大利文等文字，对中医的靠前推广产生了重要影响。
