【内容简介】

本教材以教育部新颁发的《教学要求》、全国大学英语四六级考试委员会编印的新版《大学英语四级考试大纲》(2006年)、《大学英语六级考试大纲》(2006年)及教育部颁发的其他有关大学英语教学改革的重要文件为主要依据，并根据我国东南沿海高校的特点进行编写，供大学英语课程的一般要求和较高要求层次的教学使用。

   本教材包含十个单元，每个单元由阅读和写作两大板块构成：阅读板块围绕一个主题，分为“重点阅读”(Main Reading)，“相关阅读”(Related Reading)和“阅读技能解说”(Reading Skills)及相关配套练习。写作板块由“写作技能解说”(Writing Skills)和相关配套练习组成。
